On Wednesday March 27 from 11:30am-1:00pm, Style Matters and Events with Amore will host a style lunch and learn at All Occasion Celebrations in Mauldin. Along with spring weather comes the need for closet de-cluttering and replenishing. At this workshop, Corey Urbina will teach you what clothing essentials everyone needs, as well as how to wear the same basics at work, on the weekends, and out on the town.

Corey’s chapter, “Our Relationship with Clothes”, explores the meaning of style, factors that impact personal style, and how individuals express style. She also shares stories of her life in clothes. On September 13, 2012, Corey Urbina, financial advisor Stacie Wallice with Waddell and Reed, and Nationwide Insurance specialist Gary Morton, held an event for women at the Phoenix Inn entitled, “Are You Fashion and Financially Savvy?”  Corey and Stacie identified what and what not to do when it comes to your wardrobe and your retirement. They also offered their insights on how to create a winning style and strong financial future. Gary Morton spoke on women’s unique insurance needs. The evening’s entertainment concluded with a fall fashion show featuring Corey’s clients.  They modeled the latest trends from Chelsea’s Boutique in the Shops at Greenridge, and Dillard’s and Banana Republic at Haywood Mall.

Corey Urbina and Stacie Wallice teamed up again on September 25 to speak about “Top Fashion and Financial Faux Pas….Things Your Mother Never Taught You.” They presented at the 2012 Greenville Business Expo, held at the TD Convention Center. This presentation was part of the Expo’s Women’s Empowerment Series.
